Established by the Cochise County Board of Supervisors January 13, 2009, a full service fire department consisting of both career and volunteer firefighters proudly serving the communities of Mescal, J-6, Empire and Salcido Acres along with the Skyline, Titan Road and Dark Star areas. Our mission is to protect life and property while enhancing the well-being of those we serve through strength, integrity, and relentless commitment.

Since 2007, SAEDG has worked with existing and prospective business owners and other stakeholders in Benson, Cochise County, and Southeast Arizona to identify, develop, and expand opportunities in the region. SAEDG is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization working closely with partners across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to promote business ownership and related support channels in Southeast Arizona.

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.

Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time.

Our global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, and leaders volunteer their skills and resources to solve issues and address community needs.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veteran service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. Our mission is to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts; to serve our veterans, the military and our communities; and to advocate on behalf of all veterans. Our vision is to ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.
